The Vixen Quad model has more volume than a standard shortboard with a fish style outline low rocker, single to double concave bottom combined with a subtle swallow tail, this gives the board more drive and speed through turns with a little extra release than a standard swallow. A super versatile board that paddles great generates speed easy and can be surfed in all conditions.
Current boards are constructed using a 36 gram EPS core with a wood stringer, each board is hand laminated using high grade epoxy resin with optical brightener, or resin tint colour, 6 + 4oz fibreglass deck, 6oz bottom plus 4oz fin patch providing a lighter, stronger board.
